Lucas Bravo

Lucas Nicolas Bravo is a French actor who gained widespread international recognition for his performance in the Netflix romantic comedy television series Emily in Paris. Outside of his television work, he has built a feature film career with appearances in several comedy-dramas and romantic comedies.

Born on March 26, 1988, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Bravo comes from a prominent family background. His father, Daniel Bravo, is a retired professional footballer of Spanish descent who won the Euro 1984 tournament with France, while his mother, Eva Bravo, works as a singer. During his youth, he pursued his education at the Lycée Pasteur located in Neuilly-sur-Seine.

Bravo began his professional acting journey on television, making his screen debut in the 2013 series Sous le soleil de Saint Tropez. The following year, he transitioned to feature films by appearing as Antoine Mufla in the comedy-drama La Crème de la crème, which was directed by Kim Chapiron.

His major career breakthrough occurred in 2020 when he joined the main cast of Emily in Paris opposite Lily Collins. In the series, he portrays Chef Gabriel, who serves as the central character's downstairs neighbor and romantic interest, a role that brought him into the global spotlight.

Following his breakthrough, Bravo expanded his film repertoire with several projects released in 2022. He appeared in the adaptation of Paul Gallico's novella Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, directed by Anthony Fabian, alongside actors Lesley Manville, Isabelle Huppert, and Jason Isaacs.

In August 2024, Bravo was featured alongside Maria Bakalova in Dean Craig's film The Honeymoon. In October of the same year, he joined the cast of the Ol Parker-directed romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise, working alongside a high-profile ensemble that included George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Kaitlyn Dever.
