Camille Razat

Camille Émilie Razat is a French actress and model born on March 1, 1994. She first achieved widespread national attention in France for her performance as Léa Morel in the television drama series The Disappearance. She later attained international prominence playing the character Camille in the Netflix series Emily in Paris. Her acting resume also includes appearances as Salome in the Josée Dayan series Capitaine Marleau and as a one-eyed witch in the Netflix production Néro the Assassin.

Razat was born in Saint-Jean, Haute-Garonne, and spent her early childhood in Montberon before relocating to Toulouse, where she completed her secondary education at the Lycée Saint-Sernin. Developing a fondness for cinema from watching movies alongside her mother, she was strongly influenced by American film figures Gena Rowlands and John Cassavetes. While she initially aimed to pursue a career as a war reporter, she enrolled in a short drama internship at the Cours Florent school in Paris as a lighter alternative before committing to five years of journalism studies. Enjoying the experience, she chose to focus on acting and completed three years of stage and screen performance training at the drama school.

At age sixteen, Razat began working as a model and moved to Paris at eighteen. Represented by the French agency Premium Models, she has appeared in fashion editorials for magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and L'Officiel. Her modeling work includes representing prominent luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Cartier, and Lancôme, as well as serving as a spokesperson for French Vanity Fair and attending Paris Fashion Week events. In 2020, creative director Gherardo Felloni selected her to front a campaign highlighting jewelry collections for the brand Roger Vivier.

Razat made her professional screen debut in 2015 on the France 2 series The Disappearance. Following her television breakthrough, she worked across various French film and television projects before securing her globally recognized role in Emily in Paris. Her stage debut occurred in 2018 in Amanda Sthers' play Le Vieux Juif blonde. In cinema, she has appeared in feature films such as Paris Pigalle (2018), Girls with Balls (2018), and The Accusation (2021).

In 2022, Razat founded the production banner Tazar Production. The company has produced two music videos along with several short films, including The Ceremony (2023) and Condensation (2023), both produced by Samuel Kaperski, Célia Pyamoottoo's A Draft (À la Dérive, 2024), and Fortune (2025), which was co-directed by Pyamoottoo and Kaperski. Tazar Production aims to give opportunities to emerging talent while developing feature films with creative freedom.

In her personal life, Razat is in a relationship with the French photographer Etienne Baret. She publicly announced their engagement on Instagram in 2021, though the original social media post is no longer available online.
