Go Ayano

Go Ayano is a Japanese actor who has performed in numerous feature films and television projects since the early 2000s.

His acting career began with various roles starting in 2003. He gained wider attention in 2009 after appearing in Takashi Miike's action film Crows Zero 2. Following this appearance, he was cast in the 2010 movie Surely Someday, which marked the directorial debut of Shun Oguri.

Throughout the early 2010s, Ayano appeared in a diverse range of film projects. In 2011, he co-starred alongside Aya Takeko and Takayo Mimura in Takefumi Tsutsui's film In a Lonely Planet. The following year, he featured in Mika Ninagawa's Helter Skelter and performed a supporting role in Eriko Kitagawa's drama I Have to Buy New Shoes. In 2013, he also took part in Shuichi Okita's film Yokomichi Yonosuke.

Ayano secured two major roles in high-profile adaptations in 2013. He played George "Joe" Asakura in Gatchaman, a live-action cinematic movie based on the classic Tatsunoko Productions anime. That same year, he portrayed Ishikawa Goemon in director Ryuhei Kitamura's Lupin III, a live-action adaptation of the famous manga by Monkey Punch.

In 2016, Ayano expanded his portfolio by voicing the lead character, Nyx Ulric, in the animated feature film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.

In his personal life, Ayano announced his marriage to actress Yui Sakuma on December 31, 2022. The couple subsequently announced the birth of their first child together on March 30, 2024.
