Dave Annable

David Rodman Annable is an American actor known primarily for his work in television series. He achieved prominence through main roles such as Justin Walker on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters, Henry Martin on 666 Park Avenue, Dr. Pierce Harrison on Heartbeat, and Dr. Neal McNamara on the Paramount+ spy drama Lioness.

Annable was born in Suffern, New York, on September 15, 1979, and grew up in Walden, New York, where he played baseball, rugby, and hockey. Raised in both Christian and Jewish traditions, he graduated from Valley Central High School in 1997. He then attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he gained media experience hosting shows for the student TV station PSTV. He left the university in 2003 to move into acting, studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York under Richard Pinter.

Annable made his television debut in 2002 on Third Watch and appeared in advertisements for brands including Mountain Dew, Starburst, and Abercrombie & Fitch. After appearing in the 2004 films Little Black Book and Spellbound, he secured a major role as Aaron Lewis on the 2005 Fox drama Reunion, which was cancelled after nine episodes.

His breakthrough came in 2006 when he joined the cast of ABC's Brothers & Sisters as Justin Walker alongside Calista Flockhart, Rachel Griffiths, and Sally Field. His work on the five-season series earned him a Prism Award in 2008, and he was named to People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list in 2007.

Over the following decade, Annable starred in several network series, including 666 Park Avenue, Red Band Society, and Heartbeat. He also secured a recurring role on The Mick, starred in the 2017 action film Armed Response, and portrayed author Joe McGinniss in the television film Final Vision.

In 2017, Annable appeared as Lee Dutton in the pilot episode of Yellowstone. He later starred in the television movie No Sleep 'Til Christmas alongside his wife, played Dr. Ian Harris in Netflix's What/If, and guest-starred on This Is Us. In 2023, he joined the cast of the Paramount+ series Lioness.

Annable married actress Odette Yustman in October 2010, and the couple has two daughters. In 2009, he fulfilled a personal commitment to his mother by completing his degree requirements at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he delivered the commencement address and received the "Off To A Good Start" award.
