Jill Wagner

Jill Suzanne Wagner is an American actress and television personality. She gained widespread public recognition as the on-field presenter for the obstacle course game show Wipeout on ABC and for her frequent leading roles in original television movies for the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Great American Family. In addition to her hosting duties and television movies, she has appeared in a variety of dramatic television series and theatrical feature films.

Born on January 13, 1979, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wagner was raised primarily by her father, a United States Marine, and her grandmother. During her teenage years, she received training at the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School in Raleigh. She attended Ledford Senior High School in Wallburg, North Carolina, and later enrolled at North Carolina State University, graduating in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in business management.

Following her graduation, Wagner relocated to California to build a career in entertainment. Her television work began in 2003 when she was chosen as a cast member on MTV's prank series Punk'd, participating in several sketches. Soon after, she took on scripted acting roles, appearing in the 2005 theatrical film Junebug, co-starring as Krista Starr in Spike TV's Blade: The Series in 2006, and starring in the 2008 horror feature Splinter. During this period, she also guest-starred on programs such as Quintuplets and Bones, co-hosted Inside the Vault, and served as the brand spokesmodel for the Mercury Milan from 2006 to 2011.

Wagner was selected as the on-field host for ABC's game show Wipeout ahead of its 2008 premiere. She temporarily stepped away from the series after four seasons in April 2011 to dedicate more time to her acting career, including a role on MTV's Teen Wolf that same year. After missing the fifth season, she returned to Wipeout in late August 2012 for its sixth season and remained with the broadcast for the rest of its original run.

In 2015, Wagner began hosting the unscripted television series Handcrafted America on INSP, continuing through its third season in 2017. She also appeared in the 2018 Canadian feature film Braven. During this period, she became a regular lead in made-for-television films on the Hallmark Channel, including playing Amy Winslow in the Mystery 101 movie series beginning in 2019. In December 2021, she began starring in television movies for Great American Family, such as A Merry Christmas Wish in December 2022.

In 2023, Wagner joined the main cast of Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ espionage drama series Special Ops: Lioness, portraying the CIA operative Bobby. Off screen, Wagner married former professional ice hockey player and United States Army Reserve officer David Lemanowicz in April 2017. The couple resides on a farm in Tennessee and has two daughters, born in April 2020 and August 2021.
