Cho Mi-yeon

Cho Mi-yeon, known mononymously as Miyeon, is a South Korean singer, actress, and television presenter. Born on January 31, 1997, in Incheon, South Korea, she developed an interest in music at a young age, learning to play instruments including the piano, guitar, and violin. After undergoing musical training under YG Entertainment and Cube Entertainment, she debuted in May 2018 as a main vocalist of the South Korean girl group i-dle (formerly stylized as (G)I-DLE).

In addition to her group activities, Miyeon expanded into global virtual media by voicing the character Ahri in the League of Legends virtual K-pop group K/DA. She launched her career as an actress with a leading role in the 2021 web drama series Replay: The Moment and took on various television hosting roles, notably serving as a main co-host for the weekly music program M Countdown.

Miyeon made her official debut as a solo musical artist in April 2022 with the release of her mini-album MY and its lead single Drive, which earned her a first-place trophy on South Korean music broadcasts. She has since contributed numerous original soundtrack recordings for television dramas and released follow-up solo projects while maintaining active promotions with her group.
