Jacob Elordi

Jacob Nathaniel Elordi is an Australian actor born on June 26, 1997. He gained initial fame as Noah Flynn in Netflix's romantic comedy film series The Kissing Booth (2018–2021) and as Nate Jacobs in the HBO drama series Euphoria (2019–2026). He garnered further acclaim portraying Elvis Presley in Priscilla (2023), Felix Catton in Saltburn (2023), and the Creature in Frankenstein (2025). His achievements include a Critics' Choice Award, three AACTA Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, three British Academy Film Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards.

Raised in Brisbane, Queensland, Elordi grew up in a working-class family with three older sisters. His mother was a stay-at-home parent and school volunteer, and his father was a house painter who moved to Australia from Spain as a child. Elordi attended St Kevin's College in Melbourne and St Joseph's College, Nudgee, graduating in 2015. During his youth, he played rugby union and basketball, competing on a Victorian basketball team that won an under-16 national championship in 2012. A back injury playing rugby prompted him to shift his primary focus to acting, inspired by Heath Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight and reading Waiting for Godot in school.

After studying acting in Melbourne, Elordi moved to the United States in 2017. He served as an extra in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) and played his first screen role in the Australian film Swinging Safari (2018). His breakthrough came with The Kissing Booth (2018), which became a major viewing success for Netflix and led to two sequels. Shortly after, he secured the role of Nate Jacobs in Euphoria, a performance that earned praise as a pivotal transition in his career.

Elordi subsequently appeared in films including The Mortuary Collection (2019), 2 Hearts (2020), The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee (2020), and Deep Water (2022). In 2023, he featured in The Sweet East and He Went That Way, before earning critical acclaim for playing Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's Priscilla and Felix Catton in Emerald Fennell's Saltburn. His performance in Saltburn earned him a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

In 2024, Elordi hosted Saturday Night Live and starred in the drama films Oh, Canada and On Swift Horses. He played the lead role in the miniseries adaptation of The Narrow Road to the Deep North (2025) and portrayed the Creature in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein (2025), receiving nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe Award. He later played Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell's film adaptation of Wuthering Heights (2026), reprised his role in Euphoria, and starred in Ridley Scott's science fiction feature The Dog Stars (2026).

Known for his 6-foot-5-inch (1.95-meter) height, Elordi became widely recognized in the media as a prominent contemporary leading man. In addition to his acting career, he has served as an ambassador for brands such as Hugo Boss and TAG Heuer.
