Yuko Araki

Yuko Araki, born on December 15, 1993, in Tokyo, is a Japanese actress and fashion model. Represented by the talent agency Stardust Promotion, she has established a career across print media, television, and film. She is widely known for her roles in television series such as Code Blue, Kiss That Kills, Suits, and Roppongi Class, as well as feature films including Our Meal for Tomorrow, That Girl's Captives of Love, See Hear Love, Once Upon a Crime, and Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General.

Araki was discovered in the fifth grade when she was scouted on Takeshita Street in Harajuku by Stardust Promotion. She initially worked as a model for children's clothing catalogues. She made her on-screen acting debut in May 2008 with a main role in the film Ikari o Nagero. Following her debut, she appeared in minor roles in feature films such as Aoi Tori, Confessions, and Usotsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan.

Throughout high school, Araki struggled to pass acting auditions. Upon entering university, she decided to give up on her acting career if she did not achieve results within four years. Her breakthrough arrived in 2014 when she became an exclusive model for the magazine Non-no, eventually serving as a flagship model for the publication. This success led to commercial opportunities, including endorsement contracts with major corporations such as Skylark Holdings' restaurant chain, Gusto.

In 2015, Araki was selected as the eighth CM girl for the wedding magazine Zexy, a role that increased her public recognition. Her expanding visibility in modeling helped her secure more acting jobs. Despite having been in the entertainment industry since age ten, she was frequently introduced as a new actress, prompting her to approach acting with the mindset of a newcomer. In 2016, she obtained her first leading role in a television drama in Fuji TV's Love Love Alien.

Araki continued to build her acting portfolio in 2017 with supporting roles in Crisis: Special Security Squad and Code Blue Season 3. In July of that year, she released her first photo book titled Girlfriend, and in August, she was chosen as the model for fashion brand SLY's 2017-18 fall and winter campaign. Her career momentum persisted into 2018 with roles in notable television dramas, including NTV's Kiss That Kills and Fuji TV's Suits.

In January 2019, Araki played the lead role in Trace: Kasouken no Otoko. She made her voice acting debut on July 12, 2019, voicing Gabby Gabby in the Japanese dub of Toy Story 4. Later that year in October, she co-starred alongside Kora Kengo in Fuji TV's Thursday drama Motokare Mania, marking her first lead role in a terrestrial television drama.

Araki expanded her brand partnerships in February 2020 when she was appointed as a Japanese brand ambassador for the French luxury fashion brand Dior, having attended their fashion shows since 2018. In October 2020, she starred in her first drama as a solo lead in Wowow's series The Confession of the Sirens. She graduated from her position as an exclusive model for Non-no in October 2021 with the release of their December issue. She launched her official YouTube channel on March 26, 2022. On April 11, 2026, Araki and actor Yuto Nakajima jointly announced that they had officially registered their marriage.
