Suga

Min Yoon-gi, known professionally as Suga and Agust D, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Daegu, South Korea, he first achieved international fame as a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, which debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. As a primary producer and lyricist for the group, he has contributed extensively to their discography and global success.

Outside of his group accomplishments, Suga launched a solo career under the pseudonym Agust D with his self-titled mixtape in 2016. He followed this with his second mixtape, D-2, in 2020, which featured the single Daechwita. In April 2023, he released his debut official studio album, D-DAY, completing his solo mixtape trilogy. The album reached top positions on global charts and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. To support the release, he conducted the SUGA Agust D TOUR D-DAY, marking the first solo world tour by a BTS member.

Beyond his solo recording career, Suga is a prolific record producer who has written and produced tracks for numerous prominent Korean and international artists. He has received recognition from the Korea Music Copyright Association as a full member. In addition to music, he has served as a global brand ambassador for major luxury fashion houses and international organizations, including the National Basketball Association.

In September 2023, Suga began his mandatory military service in South Korea, serving as a social service agent. Upon completing his service commitment, he resumed his music career and creative activities as a songwriter, producer, and performer.
