Kim Seok-jin

Kim Seok-jin, known professionally as Jin, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He gained international prominence as a member and vocalist of the global pop group BTS, which debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. Renowned for his vocal range and stage presence, he has contributed to the group's global success through co-writing and releasing several charting solo tracks, including "Awake," "Epiphany," and "Moon."

In addition to his group contributions, Kim has built a distinct solo career. He officially made his solo debut in October 2022 with the single "The Astronaut," released prior to embarking on his mandatory military service in South Korea. Following his honorable discharge in June 2024, he resumed his active career, hosting his self-produced web variety show Run Jin and launching extensive global solo projects, including solo concert tours and brand ambassadorships with major international luxury fashion houses.

Beyond music and broadcasting, Kim holds a degree in Film Studies from Konkuk University. His contributions to South Korean culture have been recognized alongside his bandmates with the Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit awarded by the President of South Korea in 2018. Kim continues to balance his individual artistic projects and business ventures while remaining an active member of BTS.
