Priah Ferguson

Priah Nicole Ferguson is an American actress from Atlanta, Georgia. She gained widespread recognition for portraying Erica Sinclair on the Netflix science fiction drama Stranger Things. Her acting career includes roles across television, film, and voice work.

Born on October 1, 2006, Ferguson grew up in Atlanta alongside a younger sister. Her interest in performing was inspired by watching movies such as Crooklyn and Daddy's Little Girls. She attended Fayette County High School in Fayetteville, Georgia, graduating in 2025, where she participated as a member of the school dance team.

Ferguson began her acting journey in 2015 by taking parts in local short and independent films. Her professional television debut occurred in 2016 when she made guest appearances on the FX series Atlanta and the historical drama Mercy Street.

In 2017, Ferguson landed a recurring role in the second season of Stranger Things, playing Erica Sinclair, the younger sister of Caleb McLaughlin's character, Lucas Sinclair. Her performance led to a promotion to series regular starting in the third season, a role she continued through the show's fifth and final season in 2025.

Beyond her regular television role, Ferguson appeared in the 2018 film The Oath. In 2022, she co-starred with Marlon Wayans in the Halloween comedy feature film The Curse of Bridge Hollow. The following year, she expanded into voice work by voicing the character Lisa in the animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter.

In addition to her entertainment projects, Ferguson was named a spokesperson for United Way of Atlanta in 2015. She threw the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Diego Padres in 2019, and in 2022 she collaborated with the resale platform ThredUp to encourage secondhand shopping.
