Natasha Liu Bordizzo

Natasha Liu Bordizzo is an Australian actress who gained international recognition through her roles in feature films and television series. She made her screen acting debut in 2016 and has since appeared in a range of projects, including martial arts films, drama series, and major franchise productions. In addition to her acting work, she has undertaken high-fashion ambassadorships and commercial modeling.

Bordizzo was born on 25 August 1994 in Sydney, New South Wales. Her family background includes a Chinese mother and a father of Italian descent. She completed her secondary education at Sydney Girls High School. Before pursuing performance full-time, she was preparing to undertake a combined degree in law and communication at the University of Technology Sydney. She possesses background training in martial arts, holding a black belt in taekwondo alongside experience in Kenpō karate.

Her acting career began when she was selected to portray Snow Vase in the 2016 wuxia feature Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, released by Netflix. Bordizzo attributed her selection to her age, physical appearance, fluency in English, and existing martial arts skills. To prepare for the character, she underwent specialized Wudang sword fighting instruction under Yuen Woo-ping. Following her debut, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2016 to advance her career internationally.

In 2017, Bordizzo played Deng Yan in the musical film The Greatest Showman, directed by Michael Gracey and distributed by 20th Century Fox, which went on to become a major commercial success. She followed this in 2018 with a role as an Australian traveler named Bree in Hotel Mumbai, a thriller directed by Anthony Maras based on a 2009 documentary concerning the 2008 attacks at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India. She appeared alongside Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, and Anupam Kher. In 2019, she was cast as Helena in the Netflix drama series The Society.

Bordizzo played Julia in the 2021 Amazon Prime Video thriller The Voyeurs, which was filmed in Montreal, Canada, in 2019. Although she originally submitted a self-tape audition utilizing an American accent, the director instructed her to perform using her natural Australian accent. That same year, she provided the voice for Li Na Wang, a famous public figure, in the animated comedy Wish Dragon. In 2022, she portrayed Heather in the Netflix vampire action-comedy Day Shift.

In November 2021, Bordizzo was cast in the Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka, in which she played the Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren; the show premiered in August 2023. She stars in the 2025 Stan Originals television series He Had It Coming, a project focused on female friendship, dark humor, and campus politics. Outside of acting, Bordizzo serves as a brand ambassador for Chanel and has worked as a model for the Australian clothing brand Bonds.
