García began her artistic training at eight years old with artistic gymnastics. At fourteen, she began combining gymnastics with modern and funk dance at the Carmen Senra and Academia Broadway dance schools. She learned to sing under the instruction of Rosario Ruiz and Nora Troyani, and later took guitar classes. From 2014 to 2022, she was in a relationship with singer Leiva.
Her acting career began at thirteen when she played Canelilla in the Jara productions musical En nombre de la Infanta Carlota, which ran for several seasons at the Theatre of Madrid. She subsequently played the lead role of Gabriella Montez alongside Daniel Diges as Troy Bolton in the stage musical High School Musical.
On television, García appeared in series such as Hospital Central, Punta Escarlata, and The Boarding School. She gained wider recognition playing Chelo, the daughter of the doorman in Amar en tiempos revueltos from 2010 to 2012, and later played Vera on Luna, el misterio de Calenda in 2013.
In cinema, García played the leading role of Carmen/Blancanieves in Pablo Berger's 2012 silent film Snow White (Blancanieves). For her performance, she earned the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Goya Award for Best New Actress. In 2015, she played the supporting role of Julia in Fernando González Molina's period romance film Palm Trees in the Snow.
In 2017, García portrayed the younger version of Lola Mendieta in the third season of El ministerio del tiempo. She also starred as María in the 2017 musical comedy film Holy Camp!, directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. This film was adapted from the stage musical La llamada, which debuted at the Teatro Lara in 2013 and also starred García.
García appeared in the 2019 black comedy film Advantages of Travelling by Train alongside Javier Botet, and collaborated again with director González Molina on the television series Paradise. In 2023, she starred as Irene / Resurrección in Los Javis' series La mesías, earning a nomination for the Feroz Award for Best Main Actress in a Series.
In 2024, García portrayed Marta in the comedy drama film A House on Fire, which earned her a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. At the 2024 Ventana Sur film market, she was announced as part of the cast for Ignacio Lasierra Pinto's film Perseidas.
