Kazuha Nakamura

Kazuha Nakamura, known mononymously as Kazuha, is a Japanese singer and dancer based in South Korea. Born on August 9, 2003, she is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Le Sserafim, which was formed by Source Music in 2022.

Nakamura was born in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, as an only child. She began practicing ballet at the age of three in 2006 and subsequently built a background as a competitive dancer. Her accolades in competitive ballet include winning the Japan MIE Ballet Competition in 2016, the World Dream Ballet High School in 2017, and the Victoire Ballet Competition Kobe in 2019, along with a silver medal in the Junior's Division at the 2018 Asian Grand Prix Competition. She received training at the Hashimoto Sachiyo Ballet School & Jr in Japan, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, and the Royal Ballet School in the United Kingdom. By 2020, she was studying at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in the Netherlands.

Inspired by the South Korean girl group Blackpink, Nakamura decided to transition from ballet to K-pop. In September 2021, she applied for and passed Source Music's online audition by performing BTS's "Dynamite". Big Hit Music founder Bang Si-hyuk subsequently traveled to the Netherlands to scout her. Because she was unable to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hybe sent voice and dance coaches to the Netherlands to work with her. She later traveled to South Korea in January 2022 to begin training directly with the other prospective members of Le Sserafim.

On March 14, 2022, Source Music announced the upcoming launch of a new girl group, and Nakamura was officially revealed as its fifth member on April 8. The group debuted on May 2, 2022, with the extended play Fearless. Following her debut, performance fancams of Nakamura gained online popularity, drawing recognition for a unique dance style shaped by her ballet background.

Nakamura has contributed to Le Sserafim's musical releases as a lyricist on the tracks "Fearnot (Between You, Me, and the Lampost)" and "Swan Song". She also helped create the introductory choreography for "Swan Song" for the group's 2025 Easy Crazy Hot Tour. In December 2025, she performed a cover of Jung Kook's "Standing Next to You" at the 2025 KBS Song Festival, receiving praise for her choreography and stage presence.

In addition to her music activities, Nakamura has worked as a campaign model and ambassador for multiple cosmetics, fashion, and lifestyle brands. She was named a brand ambassador for Etude House in 2022, served as a brand muse for the hair care brand Lador from 2023 to 2025, and featured in domestic campaign ads for Lancôme's Tient Idole foundation in 2024. In 2025, she became an ambassador for the Shinsegae brand VIDIVICI and was announced for Lululemon's "Live Like You Are Alive" campaign. In 2026, she served as a model for Thome's Twenty Up ultrasonic skincare device, alongside participating in promotions for Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren.
