Jenny Packham

Jenny Packham is a British fashion designer who primarily creates ready-to-wear clothing and wedding dresses. She is also known as the sister of naturalist and television presenter Chris Packham.

Packham began her creative education by studying at the Southampton College of Art. She subsequently continued her training in fashion at Saint Martin's School of Art in London.

Her career launched publicly when her designs were first presented at the London Designer Show in 1988. Over the following decades, she built her eponymous brand, expanding her reach across the fashion industry.

Throughout her career, Packham has created notable designs for prominent public figures and media productions. She has designed at least eight dresses for the Princess of Wales, which include the gown worn to the Olympic Gala Concert at the Albert Hall in 2012 and a gold gown worn to the 2021 premiere of the James Bond film No Time to Die. Additionally, she has designed clothing for high-profile figures such as Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, and Keira Knightley.

Her work has also been featured extensively in film and television. Packham's designs appeared in the James Bond movies Die Another Day and Casino Royale. For television, she created costumes for Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City and designed pieces for multiple episodes of Gossip Girl.

Packham has received major recognition for her contributions to fashion. In 2008, she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Southampton Solent University. In 2013, a retrospective selection of her work was showcased in the Raphael Gallery at the V&A Museum to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of her label.
