Christina Milian

Christina Milian is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur. Born Christine Flores in Jersey City, New Jersey, and raised in Waldorf, Maryland, she relocated to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She gained initial prominence in the early 2000s through music collaborations and television appearances, establishing a multi-faceted career across music, film, and television.

Milian's music career achieved commercial success following her featured performance on Ja Rule's 2000 single "Between Me and You" and co-writing Jennifer Lopez's 2001 hit "Play." Her self-titled debut studio album spawned international hit singles including "AM to PM." Her 2004 follow-up album, It's About Time, featured the single "Dip It Low," which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. She also sang "Call Me, Beep Me!", the theme song for the animated series Kim Possible.

As an actress, Milian played lead roles in feature films such as Love Don't Cost a Thing, Be Cool, and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, as well as romantic comedies like Falling Inn Love and Resort to Love. On television, she has appeared in series such as Grandfathered, Step Up: High Water, and Dexter: Original Sin.
