Chaeryeong

Lee Chae-ryeong, known professionally by the mononym Chaeryeong, is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is best known as a member of the K-pop girl group ITZY, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2019. Within the group, she primarily performs as a main dancer and vocalist, gaining recognition for her fluid performance style and contribution to the ensemble's musical releases.

Prior to her debut with ITZY, Chaeryeong appeared on television talent competition programs in South Korea. In 2013, she participated in the reality show K-pop Star 3 alongside her older sister, Lee Chae-yeon. Following the show, she became a trainee at JYP Entertainment and went on to compete in the 2015 girl group survival show Sixteen, which established the group Twice.

Chaeryeong officially debuted as a member of ITZY in February 2019 with the release of their single album It'z Different and its lead single Dalla Dalla. Since their debut, the group has earned numerous industry honors, including Rookie of the Year awards at major South Korean music award ceremonies. Beyond group releases, she released the solo track Mine on ITZY's 2024 album Born to Be and featured as a mentor on the reality competition show Universe Ticket.
