Anne V

Anna Sergeyevna Vyalitsyna, also known as Anne V, is a Russian-American model. She is best known for her ten consecutive annual appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue from 2005 to 2014.

Vyalitsyna was born on 19 March 1986 in the Russian city of Gorky, now known as Nizhny Novgorod. Both of her parents are physicians, with her father serving as a sports doctor for an association football team and her mother working as a pediatrician. At age 15, she began her professional modeling career after being scouted in Saint Petersburg by IMG Models while searching for new faces for MTV's Fashionably Loud Europe. After winning an IMG and MTV contest, she moved to New York. She became an American citizen on 16 November 2013.

Within six months of winning the contest, Vyalitsyna secured work for Anna Molinari, Chloé, and Sportmax. She has been featured on the covers of Vogue, ELLE, and Glamour. She made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2005 and returned every year through 2014. In her 2005 debut edition, she was the subject of Joanne Gair body painting works.

In addition to modeling work, Vyalitsyna had an uncredited cameo in the film A Good Day to Die Hard. In 2016, she walked in the Versace SS 2017 fashion show alongside Carmen Kass, Bette Franke, Adriana Lima, Naomi Campbell, Caroline Trentini, and Mariacarla Boscono. She walked for Intimissimi in 2018, and later walked for Veronica Beard, Rag & Bone, and Salvatore Ferragamo in Fall 2020.

Following a three-year hiatus, Vyalitsyna made her runway comeback in 2023, starting with Valentino Haute Couture FW23. She walked in multiple SS 2024 shows, opening for Prabal Gurung and closing for Chiara Boni Le Petite Robe. Her other SS 2024 runway appearances included Carolina Herrera, Retrofete, Staud, Richard Quinn, John Richmond, Elisabeta Franchi, and Givenchy, where she walked alongside Jessica Stam and Natasha Poly.

In 2009, Vyalitsyna completed the ING New York City Marathon, volunteering as a guide for a disabled athlete with Achilles International and tweeting in real-time. She dated Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine from 2010 to April 2012, appearing on the November 2011 Vogue Russia cover and in the music videos for Misery and Never Gonna Leave This Bed. She later dated baseball player Matt Harvey from 2013 to 2014. On 19 March 2015, Vyalitsyna announced she was pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Adam Cahan. Their daughter, Alaska, was born on 25 June 2015 and named because it represents where the U.S. and Russia meet. Vyalitsyna and Cahan got engaged on 5 June 2016 and separated by 2018.
