Morgan Brittany

Morgan Brittany (born Suzanne Cupito on December 5, 1951, in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress, model, author, and conservative political commentator. She is best known for playing Katherine Wentworth, the scheming half-sister of Pamela Ewing and Cliff Barnes, on the primetime soap opera Dallas from 1981 to 1987. She began her career as a child actress performing under her birth name.

Cupito started acting around age five, appearing in television programs such as Playhouse 90 and Sea Hunt in 1957. Throughout the late 1950s and 1960s, she made numerous television appearances, including roles in three episodes of The Twilight Zone, as well as guest spots on Gunsmoke, My Three Sons, Rawhide, The Outer Limits, Lassie, and The Andy Griffith Show. Her childhood film credits include playing Baby June in Gypsy (1962), an uncredited role in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), Stage to Thunder Rock (1964), and Yours, Mine and Ours (1968). She paused acting at age 15 to complete high school in Reseda, California.

At age 18, Cupito adopted the name Morgan Brittany and danced alongside Gene Kelly in his Las Vegas show. Moving to New York City, she joined Ford Models, starring in print ads and television commercials, including a three-year stint as "The Ultra Brite Toothpaste Girl." She served as a spokesmodel for brands such as L'Oreal, Maybelline, Ford, Levi's, and Camay. From 1974 to 1976, Brittany lived in Tokyo after Japanese cosmetics company Kanebo selected her as the face of their product Ireine.

Brittany resumed acting in the 1970s, appearing in television films and series such as Bridget Loves Bernie, The Amazing Howard Hughes, The Initiation of Sarah, and The Dream Merchants. She gained notice portraying actress Vivien Leigh in John Schlesinger's film The Day of the Locust (1975), the film biography Gable and Lombard (1976), and the television movie The Scarlett O'Hara War (1980).

Her depiction of Leigh led to her casting on Dallas as Katherine Wentworth, a role she played intermittently between 1981 and 1987. During the 1980s, Brittany co-starred in the drama series Glitter (1984), co-hosted the sports show Star Games, and hosted over 100 episodes of Photoplay. She guest-starred on programs like Murder, She Wrote, Married... with Children, Fantasy Island, Melrose Place, and The Nanny, and starred in the film Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat (1989).

In the 1990s and 2000s, Brittany appeared in independent films and docudramas, including Riders in the Storm (1995), Legend of the Spirit Dog (1997), The Protector (1997), The Biggest Fan (2002), Mothers and Daughters (2006), Americanizing Shelley (2007), and 1 a Minute (2010). Off screen, she met stuntman Jack Gill in 1980 while filming The Dukes of Hazzard; they married in 1981 and have two children.

In her later career, Brittany became a conservative commentator, author, and speaker. She serves as co-owner and anchor for PolitiChicks, writes a weekly column for WorldNetDaily, and co-authored the books What Women Really Want (2014) and PolitiChicks: A Clarion Call to Political Activism (2017). She frequently appears as a guest on news and talk shows, including Hannity, Fox & Friends, The Kudlow Report, and Huckabee.
