Lili Reinhart

Lili Pauline Reinhart is an American actress born on September 13, 1996. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Betty Cooper in the television teen drama series Riverdale, which ran from 2017 to 2023. Beyond her work on television, she has appeared in feature films such as the crime drama Hustlers and the romantic drama Chemical Hearts.

Reinhart was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Amy and Daniel Reinhart, and was raised in nearby Bay Village alongside her two sisters. She is of German and French descent. At age ten, she developed an interest in singing, acting, and dancing, leading her mother to drive her to New York City for auditions. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, at age 16, and later relocated to Los Angeles at age 18 to pursue acting before temporarily returning to Charlotte after five months.

Her early acting career included a television pilot for Scientastic! in 2010, an appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011, and a role in the sitcom Surviving Jack. She also acted in independent feature films including Lilith, Not Waving But Drowning, The Kings of Summer, Gibsonburg, Forever's End, Miss Stevens, and The Good Neighbor. In February 2016, Reinhart secured her breakout role as Betty Cooper on Riverdale after auditioning twice for the series.

Following her television breakthrough, Reinhart expanded into notable film projects. She played Tiffany in the 2018 drama Galveston and appeared as Annabelle in the 2019 film Hustlers, which achieved major commercial success. In 2020, she starred as Grace Town in Chemical Hearts, which marked her first project as an executive producer. She subsequently starred in and executive produced the film Look Both Ways. In June 2021, her production company, Small Victory Productions, signed a partnership deal with Amazon Studios to develop original and adapted film and television projects.

In addition to acting and producing, Reinhart has taken on various corporate and literary ventures. She became an ambassador for American Express and CoverGirl in 2019. In September 2020, she released a poetry collection titled Swimming Lessons: Poems, which reached number two on The New York Times Best Seller list for paperback trade fiction. In 2024, she launched a skincare brand named Personal Day.

Reinhart is a Christian who practices Transcendental Meditation and reiki healing. She publicly came out as bisexual in June 2020. Over the course of her career, she has publicly discussed her personal experiences with mental health and medical conditions, including diagnoses of depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, alopecia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, severe premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and endometriosis.
