Kanaphan Puitrakul

Kanaphan Puitrakul, also known by the nickname First, is a Thai actor, singer, and television presenter signed with the agency GMMTV. Born on September 3, 1998, he is best recognized for his prominent roles in series such as The Eclipse (2022), Only Friends (2023), The Heart Killers (2024), and Cat for Cash (2026).

Raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Kanaphan grew up alongside an older and a younger brother. His parents gave him his nickname with the intention that he would achieve many things in life. He completed his secondary education at Suankularb Wittayalai School before pursuing higher education at Srinakharinwirot University, where he graduated in 2021 with second-class honors and a bachelor's degree in Cyber Business Management.

At the age of eighteen in 2016, Kanaphan launched his acting career after being selected out of one hundred candidates for the leading role in the Children's Day film The Assassin. In 2017, he secured a spot in the top four of the Cool Man Good Man competition. That same year, he appeared alongside Poompat Iam-samang in a television commercial for KA Cosmetics that later became popular online.

Kanaphan joined GMMTV in 2018, making his television acting debut in a supporting role on Wake Up Ladies: The Series and becoming a host on the travel show Toe Laew, a role he revisited for its second season in 2020. He also became a regular guest and, starting in 2022, a main presenter on the variety show School Rangers. Between 2019 and 2021, he took on main roles in Wolf, Blacklist, and The Shipper, reprised his character Ryu in the Wake Up Ladies sequel, and achieved a breakout performance as Yok in Not Me.

In 2022, Kanaphan was paired professionally with his real-life best friend Thanawat Rattanakitpaisan for the series The Eclipse, which won several awards and was listed among the top BL series of the year by Teen Vogue. During 2022, he also appeared in supporting roles in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, Astrophile, and the Netflix film The Lost Lotteries. The following year, he portrayed Alan in Moonlight Chicken—which won Best LGBTQ+ Programme Made in Asia at the 2023 Content Asia Awards—and reprised his role as Akk in Our Skyy 2, releasing the duet single Your World, My World with Rattanakitpaisan under GMMTV Records. Later in 2023, he joined the ensemble cast of Only Friends as Sand.

In 2024, Kanaphan starred as Kant opposite Rattanakitpaisan in The Heart Killers, a show that ranked as the most-watched series on iQIYI during its broadcast and led to worldwide fan meetings. His 2026 projects include roles in Ossan's Love Thailand, My Magic Prophecy, and Cat for Cash. Beyond acting, Kanaphan performed in GMMTV's Love Out Loud Fan Fest concerts in 2023 and 2024, with participation scheduled for 2025. Outside entertainment, he runs his personal clothing brand, Momento, and had amassed over 3.6 million Instagram followers and 1.9 million followers on X by September 2025.
