Kasidet Plookphol

Kasidet Plookphol, also known by his nickname Book, is a Thai actor and vocalist currently signed with the talent management agency GMMTV. He initially gained public attention in the music industry before establishing himself as a television actor. He is widely recognized for his leading roles in various popular drama series.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Kasidet completed his early schooling at Patai Udom Suksa School and continued his secondary education at Sarawittaya School. He later pursued higher studies at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, where he earned a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Engineering.

Kasidet began his entertainment career in 2018 while still attending university. He debuted as a member of the boy band Cute Chef under the JomeFam agency, performing alongside other aspiring artists. In 2020, he made his transition to television with a supporting role in the series Friend Forever and made a cameo appearance in the feature film Pojaman Sawang Ka Ta. Later that same year, he officially joined GMMTV as an artist.

His career reached a milestone in 2022 when he secured his first primary acting role playing Theo in the series Enchanté. He starred opposite Jiratchapong Srisang, a former schoolmate with whom he shared a long friendship dating back to kindergarten. The duo's on-screen partnership, popularised as ForceBook, led to subsequent collaborative projects. In 2023, Kasidet portrayed Cher, an aspiring e-sports gamer interning at a corporate firm, in the television series A Boss and a Babe. That same year, he reprised the role in the anthology project Our Skyy 2 and joined the main cast of the drama Only Friends.

Kasidet expanded his acting portfolio in 2024 by featuring in the series Only Boo! and Peaceful Property, as well as starring in Perfect 10 Liners. Beyond his television roles, he has contributed music to various series soundtracks and engaged in commercial brand partnerships. Notably, in January 2024, he attended a high-profile fashion event for Dolce&Gabbana during Milan Menswear Fashion Week in Italy alongside Jiratchapong Srisang.

His recent endeavors include venturing into voice acting in 2025, where he voiced Inspector Rikuo Hasebe for the Thai release of the animated feature Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback. He was also featured as a primary performer in the Love Out Loud Fan Fest 2025: Lovemosphere concert event.
