Ju Jingyi

Ju Jingyi is a Chinese actress, singer, and dancer who gained widespread recognition as a member of the idol group SNH48 before establishing a solo career. Born on June 18, 1994, in Suining, Sichuan, she initially studied violin at The Attached Middle School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. She withdrew from her studies to audition for SNH48, successfully qualifying as a second-generation member in 2013 and making her initial public appearances shortly after.

During her tenure with SNH48, Ju participated in numerous team performances and group activities. Her popularity grew significantly through the group's annual popularity polls, where she placed fourth in 2014, second in 2015, and secured the top spot in both 2016 and 2017. Alongside her group commitments, she joined the sub-unit Seine River, contributing to their debut single in 2015. She officially transitioned to a solo artist in December 2017 under Star48, supported by her own dedicated management studio.

Ju launched her acting career in 2016 with a role in the fantasy series Novoland: The Castle in the Sky, for which she also sang a soundtrack track and earned the New Television Actress of the Year Award at the Tencent Video Star Awards. Following this, she took on lead roles in projects such as the web series Detective Samoyeds and the fantasy drama Xuan-Yuan Sword: Han Cloud. In 2017, her contributions were acknowledged when she received the May 4th Medal from the Chinese Communist Youth League.

After going solo, Ju achieved major commercial success with her leading role in the 2018 historical drama Legend of Yunxi, which earned her the Best Actress award at the China Canada Television Festival Award. Her screen career expanded with major roles in Mr. Swimmer, Legend of the White Snake, and Please Give Me a Pair of Wings. Alongside her television roles, she consistently released solo music, including several extended plays such as Yes Or No, Love Emergency Report, and individual singles.

In subsequent years, Ju continued to star in high-profile television dramas, including In a Class of Her Own, The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, Rebirth For You, Love Under the Full Moon, and the xianxia romance Beauty of Resilience. In 2024, she featured in the web drama In Blossom as well as the game adaptation Sword and Fairy 4, followed by a role as Lu Wuyi in Veil of Shadows. She also participated in the CCTV New Year's Gala in 2020 and served as a judge on the music variety show The Chinese Youth.
