Vail Bloom

Vail MacMillan Bloom is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her television roles, most notably playing attorney Heather Stevens on the long-running CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. Her performance on the show earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2008.

Bloom was raised in several areas across the United States, including Boston, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. She attended Princeton University, where she studied architecture and earned a bachelor's degree in 2004. During her time in college, she gained media attention after placing third in Maxim magazine's national Hometown Hotties contest in 2003, which helped spur her transition into full-time screen acting after graduation.

Her professional acting career began with television appearances, including a debut guest role on the series Las Vegas in 2006. She subsequently joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 2007, portraying Heather Stevens until 2010. Beyond daytime television, Bloom has appeared in guest roles on primetime series such as Cold Case, Entourage, and Castle, as well as the web series Angel of Death. In 2014, she joined the cast of the Bravo reality television series Vanderpump Rules for its third season.

In feature films, Bloom has performed in movies across multiple genres, including the comedy film Finishing the Game, the independent drama Too Late, and the family films Surviving the Wild and Orphan Horse. In 2023, she reprised her role as Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless, returning to daytime television for a story arc that concluded in late 2024.
