Stassi Schroeder

Nastassia Bianca "Stassi" Schroeder Clark is an American television personality, podcast host, fashion blogger, model, and author. She is best known for her main role on the Bravo reality television series Vanderpump Rules, in which she appeared from 2013 to 2020 across eight seasons. In addition to her television work, Schroeder is a successful writer who has authored New York Times best-selling books.

Schroeder was born on June 24, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to an architect father and a jewelry designer mother. She grew up alongside two younger brothers and a younger sister. At age eleven, she began taking theater classes at Mount Carmel Academy, participating in several high school stage productions. After turning eighteen, she moved to Hollywood to attend Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English writing.

Schroeder made her television debut in 2005 as a contestant on the eighth season of the reality game show The Amazing Race, competing alongside her family and finishing in seventh place. While attending university in 2008, she appeared on the series Queen Bees. In 2010, she began working at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants SUR and Villa Blanca, which ultimately led to her casting on Vanderpump Rules. She served as a main cast member for seven seasons and in a recurring capacity for one season.

Beyond Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder expanded her media presence through various acting and television roles. She portrayed the character Koening in the 2016 television film Sharknado: The 4th Awakens and made guest appearances on Summer House. In 2019, she hosted the digital series Basically Stassi. She later signed a deal with Hulu in 2024 for her comedic docuseries Stassi Says, joined the second season of Vanderpump Villa, and hosted a reunion special for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. In 2026, she starred in the reality series House of Stassi, which achieved top rankings on Hulu's streaming charts.

As a writer and fashion figure, Schroeder worked as a style critic for The Divine Addiction and contributed a column to Glamour magazine. Her debut book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook, was published in 2019 and reached the New York Times Best Seller list. She released her second best-selling book, Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom, in 2022. In fashion, she has modeled for publications such as Glamour and Italian Vanity Fair, and she has launched clothing and accessory collaborations with ShopPrimadonna.com and JustFab.

Schroeder has also built a career in podcasting and business ventures. She launched her weekly podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, in 2015, later launching live tour shows and a parenting podcast titled The Good The Bad The Baby. In her personal life, she married casting agent Beau Clark in September 2020, and the couple has a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023.
