Ren Meguro

Ren Meguro is a Japanese performer and actor who is a member of the musical idol group Snow Man. His career is managed by Starto Entertainment, an agency previously known as Johnny & Associates. Born in Tokyo on February 16, 1997, he has established a prominent presence in the Japanese entertainment industry through his work in television, film, and fashion.

Meguro's professional career began in October 2010 when he affiliated with Starto Entertainment. In November 2016, he became part of Uchuu Six, a newly created pre-debut group operating under Junior, the agency's division responsible for managing trainees and their performance activities.

In January 2019, Meguro was integrated into the existing Junior unit Snow Man alongside performers Koji Mukai and Raul. Snow Man made its official entertainment debut a year later on January 22, 2020. Concurrent with his debut in Snow Man, Meguro ended his participation with Uchuu Six.

Beyond his group endeavors, Meguro expanded into acting. In August 2021, he took on his first leading television role outside of group-centric projects, co-starring with agency colleague Shunsuke Michieda in the live-action television adaptation of My Love Mix-Up!. In July 2023, he secured his initial lead role in a television drama series with Trillion Game. He was also cast in the second season of the series Shogun.

In feature films, Meguro was revealed in February 2022 as one of four principal actors in Phases of the Moon, a cinematic adaptation of Shogo Sato's 157th Naoki Prize-winning novel, Tsuki no Michikake. In April 2022, he was announced as a co-star alongside Mio Imada in the live-action movie As Long as We Both Shall Live, which premiered the following year.

For his cinematic contributions, Meguro earned formal industry recognition. On November 25, 2023, he received the Best Emerging Actor Award at the 5th Tama Film Awards Ceremony, honoring his performances in the 2022 release Phases of the Moon and the 2023 film My Happy Marriage.

In addition to performing, Meguro maintains an active modeling career. He became a regular model for FINEBOYS Magazine starting in November 2018. His first solo cover appearance for the publication's June 2020 issue was announced in May 2020 and published later that month. Demand for the June and July 2020 issues featuring him on the cover led to an official republication announcement on June 8, 2020, which temporarily crashed the magazine's website for five seconds.

Meguro later entered high-profile luxury fashion partnerships. In 2024, he was named a brand ambassador for Fendi, making him the Italian luxury house's first Japanese male brand ambassador. He subsequently appeared as the lead model for Fendi's Spring/Summer 2025 menswear campaign, becoming the first Japanese individual selected as the primary face of a global Fendi advertisement effort.
