Moon Sang-min

Moon Sang-min is a South Korean actor and model. He is best known for his roles in the television series Under the Queen's Umbrella, Wedding Impossible, and To My Beloved Thief.

Moon was born on April 14, 2000, in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. He grew up in a family that includes his parents and an older brother. For his education, he attended Hanlim Multi Art School, graduating from the Fashion Model Department, and later enrolled at Sungkyunkwan University.

He began his career as a model, making his runway debut at the 2018 F/W Sewing Boundaries Collection. The following year, in 2019, he transitioned into acting with his debut in the web drama 4 Reasons Why I Hate Christmas.

Moon expanded his acting career in 2021 by playing a young detective in the Netflix series My Name. In 2022, he starred as Grand Prince Seongnam in the tvN historical drama Under the Queen's Umbrella. His performance in this role brought him widespread recognition and increased popularity, resulting in reported endorsement offers from over 20 different companies.

Following his breakout role, Moon secured various commercial endorsements. On January 2, 2023, he was named a model for the domestic watch brand Romanson. Shortly after, on February 1, 2023, he was introduced as the brand ambassador for the beauty care brand I'm from. Later, on September 2, 2024, Lullua announced that Moon had been selected as an ambassador for its beauty brand.

Moon's performance in Under the Queen's Umbrella earned him significant industry recognition, including the award for Best New Actor at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2023. He continued his work in historical television productions, starring as a grand prince in Joseon in the 2026 series To My Beloved Thief.
