Mitch Hewer

Mitchell Scott Hewer, born on 1 July 1989 in Bristol, is an English actor. He is best known for his portrayal of the character Maxxie Oliver in the E4 teen drama series Skins. He received his formal training at the South West Academy of Dramatic Arts and appeared early in his career in the music video for the song The Club by Lisa Morgan.

Hewer's major breakthrough came in 2006 when he was cast as Maxxie Oliver in Skins. Following his debut in the series, he appeared on the covers of the March and October 2007 issues of the magazine Attitude as part of a feature focusing on television characters. In June 2008, he appeared nude in Cosmopolitan magazine to support testicular cancer research.

Expanding his television career, Hewer starred as the talented character Danny Miller in the musical drama series Britannia High. In addition to his acting role in the show, he contributed vocals to the official Britannia High soundtrack album. During this period, he made promotional appearances on several television programs, including The Xtra Factor, This Morning, and Richard and Judy's New Position. He was also a guest on the BBC comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks alongside Davina McCall and Alesha Dixon.

In December 2009, Hewer ventured into stage performance by appearing in the musical Never Forget, which was based on the music of the boyband Take That. Performed at Fairfield Halls in Croydon, London, the production featured Hewer in the role of a stripper named Dirty Harry, starring alongside actress Michelle Collins.

Hewer later moved into film acting with roles in 2014 productions. He played the role of Ben in the film Nightlight and appeared as Steven Stevens in Behaving Badly, a feature film adaptation of Ric Browde's novel While I'm Dead Feed the Dog. He returned to regular television acting in 2017 when he joined the cast of the medical drama series Casualty playing the role of Mickey Ellisson.

In his personal life, Hewer has a sister named Samantha and a daughter named Aria Isabella.
