Lily

Lily Jin Park Morrow, known mononymously as Lily, is an Australian and South Korean singer. She is best known as a vocalist for the South Korean girl group Nmixx under JYP Entertainment. Her career in the music industry began when she participated as a contestant on the South Korean reality show competition series K-pop Star 4 in late 2014.

Lily was born on 17 October 2002 in Marysville, Victoria, Australia. Her Korean name is Park Jin. She was born to a South Korean mother and an Australian father, and she has a younger sister named Amy. Through her paternal grandparents, she is of British descent. When she was six years old, her family lost their home in the Black Saturday bushfires, leading her to take up singing to work through the trauma. Throughout her youth, Lily attended Daylesford Primary School, Alexandra Secondary College, Cheongdam Middle School, and Dunchon High School. She completed her secondary education in March 2022.

In November 2014, Lily auditioned for SBS's K-Pop Star Season 4, where she placed fourth overall. Following her appearance on the show, JYP Entertainment confirmed on 14 May 2015 that she had signed an exclusive contract with the label. On 16 May 2015, her song "I'm Afraid" was released for the soundtrack of the KBS drama Orange Marmalade. In 2016, she starred in the film project The Weatherman's Umbrella, playing a young girl named Sarah who goes on a journey of self-discovery.

Lily officially debuted with the girl group Nmixx on 22 February 2022 with the single "O.O". The group released the single "Dice" later that same year. In November 2022, Lily participated in the competition series King of Mask Singer, where she was eliminated in the second round. In August 2024, she was announced as the host for Issue Club, a web show where she assumes the role of an investigative reporter interviewing artists.

As an artist, Lily has stated that Taylor Swift inspired her to pursue singing. Her vocal capabilities have drawn coverage, with writing in Prestige Online Singapore praising her breath control and vast vocal range. During an appearance on the South Korean music talk show The Seasons, host Zico likened her pitch accuracy to that of a machine after she covered Swift's "Cruel Summer". Lily is also involved in songwriting for Nmixx. Writing in Teen Vogue noted that she incorporated musical terminology into the lyrics for "Crescendo" and referenced the Greek myth of Tantalus in "Loud". Lily describes herself as a music nerd who enjoys embedding literary references in her lyrics.

An avid reader, Lily regularly hosts a live-streamed book discussion club titled "Lily's Lost the Plot," where she discusses books or films with her audience. The concept for the series originated from the BookTube videos she watched while growing up.
