LazarBeam

Lannan Neville Eacott, professionally known as LazarBeam, is an Australian content creator, live streamer, and internet personality. He gained global recognition through his comedic gaming commentary, unconventional gameplay challenges, and meme-focused digital entertainment. Emerging as one of the most prominent YouTube personalities from Australia, Eacott built an extensive international audience primarily through his coverage of popular titles such as Fortnite Battle Royale, Madden NFL, Minecraft, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born on December 14, 1994, in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, Eacott spent his youth working in his family's construction business. Before establishing his mainstream online career, he experimented with digital media by creating slow-motion demolition videos under the username CrushSlash. After his initial recording equipment was stolen, he registered the YouTube channel LazarBeam in January 2015. His early content focused heavily on creative Madden NFL challenges, featuring customized low-rated characters and humorous scenarios, which gradually established his loyal core audience.

Fortnite Success and Content Creation

Eacott's channel experienced rapid exponential growth starting in 2018 when he began focusing on Fortnite Battle Royale. Differing from competitive Esports players, LazarBeam became widely celebrated for his comedic strategy videos, absurd in-game experiments, and meme creation within the game. His audience expanded further as he incorporated Minecraft, Reddit reactions, and collaborative stunt videos into his regular upload schedule. He was also a key member of the Australian creator collective Click alongside fellow YouTubers. In recognition of his massive influence within the gaming community, Epic Games honored Eacott in March 2021 by adding an official LazarBeam outfit to the Fortnite Icon Series.

Personal Life and Recognition

Beyond his main YouTube channel, Eacott maintains a strong presence across secondary platforms and social media. His family also has a public digital footprint, notably his sister Tannar Eacott, who is an established photographer and content creator. In his personal life, Eacott has been in a long-term relationship with fellow creator Ilsa Watkins, with the couple announcing their engagement in late 2024. As one of Australia's highest-subscribed individual content creators, Eacott has secured numerous milestone awards from major platforms and signed high-profile production and advertising partnerships.
