Gigi Hadid

Jelena Noura "Gigi" Hadid, born on April 23, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, is an American supermodel, television personality, and fashion entrepreneur. Recognized worldwide as one of the premier models of her generation, she signed with IMG Models in 2013 and rapidly ascended to the peak of the global fashion industry. Over her career, Hadid has appeared on dozens of international Vogue covers and worked with top luxury houses.

Hadid was raised in Southern California by her mother, Yolanda Hadid, a Dutch former model, and her father, Mohamed Hadid, a Palestinian-American real estate developer. She grew up alongside her younger siblings, Bella and Anwar Hadid, who are also models. After graduating from Malibu High School, Hadid moved to New York City in 2013 to study criminal psychology at The New School before pausing her studies to model full-time.

Hadid's modeling career began at age two when she was discovered for Baby Guess. She returned to Guess in 2012 before making her New York Fashion Week debut in February 2014.
