Ele Keats is an American television, film, and stage actress, model, and jewelry designer. She is best known for her feature film roles in the Disney musical drama Newsies, Garry Marshall's Frankie and Johnny, the biographical drama Alive, Steven Soderbergh's Eros, and the horror film Insidious: Chapter 3. In addition to her screen and stage performances, she has appeared in more than one hundred national television commercials throughout her career.

Keats began her professional career as a young model, appearing in publications such as American Baby, Ladies' Home Journal, and Teen Magazine. After moving to Los Angeles, she launched her acting career at age fifteen, appearing in a Michael Jackson Pepsi commercial and featuring in LL Cool J's 1988 music video Going Back to Cali, directed by Ric Menello. Her commercial work grew to include over a hundred national advertisements, such as a 1990 Levi's jeans beach ad.

She received theatrical training in New York and Los Angeles under Gene Bua and Fran Rosen, starring in stage productions such as Seven Sided Circle at the Gene Bua Theatre and Music, America. Small television roles followed, including the pilot for The Outsiders, produced by Francis Ford Coppola, and a recurring part in the CBS sitcom Dear John starring Judd Hirsch. While still in her teens, Keats joined the cast of the Fox daily soap opera Tribes as Anny, a pregnant teenager.

Keats made her feature film debut in The Rocketeer, which led to prominent roles in There Goes My Baby, Garry Marshall's Frankie and Johnny opposite Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer, Disney's Newsies as Sarah Jacobs opposite Christian Bale, and Frank Marshall's drama Alive. Throughout the 1990s, she held leading and supporting roles in television and independent projects, including Lipstick Camera, I Shot a Man in Vegas, White Wolves II: Legend of the Wild, The Haunted Heart, and the television film Race Against Time: the Search of Sarah. She also starred in the Fox pilot TV movie White Dwarf and guest-starred on series including Diagnosis: Murder, Class of '96, Touched by an Angel, and Undressed.

In 2001, Keats played Michelle Phillips' daughter in the independent film March, and later portrayed a mysterious woman opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Steven Soderbergh's Eros, which debuted at the 2004 Venice Film Festival. She starred in Heidi Van Leer's indie comedies Monday and American Decaf, appeared in a Los Angeles production of The Vagina Monologues, and guest-starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, Cold Case, and Greek. Her later credits include the 2014 short film Snowflake opposite Tracy Middendorf, the Blumhouse horror films Insidious: Chapter 3 and Ouija: Origin of Evil, and television appearances on The Last Ship and NCIS.

In 2005, Keats launched her own line, Ele Keats Jewelry, specializing in inspirational and birthstone designs made exclusively with ethical stones. Her creations have appeared in magazines, films, and television shows, and her celebrity clients include Diane Keaton, Elizabeth Berkley, Laura Dern, and Cameron Diaz. She opened her official shop in Brentwood, Los Angeles, in 2013, relocating in 2016 to Santa Monica, California, as the Ele Keats Jewelry Lifestyle Experience. Keats is a vegan and has practiced yoga and meditation for over twenty years.
