Wanda Nara

Wanda Nara is an Argentine model and television presenter who was born on 10 December 1986 in Boulogne Sur Mer, Buenos Aires. She was born to Andrés Nara and Nora Colosimo, and she has a younger sister named Zaira.

Nara debuted on stage as a second vedette during the 2005–2006 summer theatre season in the revue Humor en custodia. In the 2006–2007 season, she served as a vedette in Jorge Corona's revue King Corona. She left the production after two months following alleged abuse from the comedian and his wife, a scandal that brought her notoriety in gossip publications. Nara subsequently joined Showmatch's Patinando por un sueño as a contestant and soubrette, appearing on the show from August to December 2007.

In late 2009, Nara competed in El musical de tus sueños. She joined Bailando 2011 as a contestant in May 2011 but left the competition to relocate to Italy, with her sister Zaira replacing her. In September 2018, Nara became a co-presenter, showgirl, and opinionist on Mediaset's late-night sports talk show Tiki Taka alongside host Pierluigi Pardo, replacing Melissa Satta. The show aired across Italia 1 and Canale 5 until her run ended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In early 2020, Nara also featured as an opinionist on the fourth season of Grande Fratello VIP.

Nara returned to Argentine television in September 2022 as a panelist on the first season of ¿Quién es la máscara?, and in February 2023, she became the host of Masterchef Argentina. Her work on television earned her major industry recognition when she won the award for Best Work in Female Hosting at the 54th annual Martín Fierro Awards on 18 May 2026. The Association of Argentine Television and Radio Journalists (APTRA) honored her for anchoring Telefe's MasterChef Celebrity.

In her personal life, Nara married Maxi López on 28 May 2008. The couple had three sons: Valentino Gastón, Constantino, and Benedicto. Their marriage ended in divorce on 6 November 2013 following mutual accusations of infidelity. Nara then returned to Buenos Aires with her children and began a relationship with Mauro Icardi, a former teammate of López at Sampdoria. The situation garnered widespread media attention, with matches between López and Icardi dubbed the "Wanda Derby" by the international press after López twice refused to shake Icardi's hand during Serie A games.

Nara married Icardi on 27 May 2014, and the couple went on to have two daughters, Francesca and Isabella. Over the following years, their relationship was marked by public separations and reconciliations. Nara announced a definitive separation in July 2024, and as of May 2026, the couple was engaged in divorce proceedings in Milan.
