Zaira Nara

Zaira Nara is an Argentine model, television host, and actress of Lebanese heritage. Born in Boulogne Sur Mer, Argentina, on August 15, 1988, she is the daughter of Andrés Nara and Nora Colosimo, as well as the younger sister of Wanda Nara.

Her career in the fashion industry began during her childhood and transitioned into professional modeling during her teenage years with Dotto Models. In 2008, she switched representation to Chekka Buenos Aires, an agency managed by Mauricio Catarain. This move led to multiple endorsement deals, positioning her as the face of prominent fashion, lingerie, and beauty brands.

Over the course of her modeling career, Nara has represented notable companies, including McDonald's, Gillette, Pantene, Herbal Essences, La Serenísima, Promesse, and Falabella. She has also walked the runway at major events such as BAFWEEK and Fashion Week, and her image has been featured on the covers of the Argentine editions of Women's Health and Cosmopolitan.

In 2010, Nara expanded into television by participating as a contestant on Bailando 2010, where she finished in ninth place, and by becoming the presenter for La Cocina del Show. The following year, she filled in for her sister Wanda on Bailando 2011 after Wanda departed the competition due to her pregnancy.

Nara has received several public media recognitions. FHM magazine placed her 47th on its global list of sexiest women in 2010, and Cosmopolitan labeled her a South American beauty icon in 2012. Additionally, she was awarded the Balón Rosa de Oro prize in Argentina in 2011.

Beyond traditional media, she maintains a strong digital presence, accumulating millions of followers across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, alongside running her own blog and web store. Her recent activities include serving as an ambassador for the online casino brand Betsson in 2023 and attending the Cannes Film Festival that same year under the sponsorship of Campari.

In her personal life, Nara was briefly engaged to professional football player Diego Forlán in 2011 before the relationship ended later that year. She subsequently became engaged to horseback rider Jakob von Plessen in April 2015, with whom she has a son and a daughter.
