Natalia París

Natalia París Gaviria is a Colombian model, publicist, entrepreneur, and DJ born on August 12, 1973. Recognized as one of Colombia's prominent public figures since the 1990s, she established a multi-faceted career spanning commercial modeling, television, film, and personal care products. Beyond her native country, she achieved notable recognition across several Central and South American nations.

Raised in Medellín, París is the daughter of Carlos Enrique Ricardo París Toro, a pilot and merchant captain, and Lucía Gaviria, a former model who became a criminal lawyer. Her early education took place at the La Enseñanza school through the ninth grade, after which she completed her secondary studies at the San José de las Vegas school. She later earned a degree in advertising from the Institute of Arts.

Her modeling endeavors began in infancy when she appeared in diaper advertisements at eight months old. By her teenage years, she achieved widespread visibility working with Colombian brands such as Tanía and Bésame, later becoming an exclusive model for Bésame underwear and Cristal Oro beer. Although her height of 1.55 meters presented an obstacle to establishing an international modeling career in the United States, she became one of the most famous models in Colombia during the 1990s.

In 1999, París expanded her commercial interests by launching a self-named line of personal care items, including skin care products and suntan lotions. She also introduced her own line of denim jeans available through a major Colombian department store chain. When faced with public satire and jokes concerning her intelligence and appearance, she used the increased media visibility to promote her business ventures, significantly boosting sales of her beauty line.

París entered the film and television industry in 2010. That year, she starred in the comedy film In Fraganti, portrayed a domestic abuse survivor in the feature En coma, and played the character Cindy during the final season of the television series Los caballeros las prefieren brutas. Her broadcasting work in 2010 included hosting the reality program La Granja and serving as a presenter for E! Fashion week: Colombiamoda on the E! entertainment channel. In 2011, she transitioned into music, making her debut as a professional DJ.

In addition to her entertainment and commercial activities, París has supported social causes. She has served as an ambassador for the Global Humanitarian Foundation to assist children living in extreme poverty, and she has advocated for initiatives opposing child sexual abuse. Regarding her personal life, she had a daughter named Mariana in 2000 with her former partner Julio César Correa Valdés, who was killed shortly after their child's birth. She later had a five-year relationship with Venezuelan actor Juan Alfonso Baptista. Currently residing in Bogotá, she remains an active media personality.
