Tini Stoessel

Martina Stoessel, known professionally as Tini, is an Argentine singer and actress born on March 21, 1997, in Buenos Aires. The daughter of television director and producer Alejandro Stoessel and Mariana Muzlera, she grew up with her older brother Francisco and attended private bilingual schools. From a young age, she pursued artistic training in singing, piano, musical theater, comedy, and dance. She began her television career in 2007 with a role in the Argentine children's series Patito Feo.

Stoessel achieved global recognition after landing the title role of Violetta Castillo in the Disney Channel Latin America telenovela Violetta, which aired from 2012 to 2015. She performed the show's theme song, "En Mi Mundo," and contributed to several successful soundtrack albums. The franchise became an international success, leading to major global concert tours, including Violetta en Vivo and Violetta Live. During this period, she also recorded Spanish and Italian versions of songs for Disney's Frozen and provided voice work for the dubbed release of Monsters University.

In 2015, Stoessel signed with Hollywood Records, becoming the first Argentine artist to join the label, and officially adopted the stage name Tini. She starred in the 2016 feature film sequel Tini: The Movie and simultaneously released her self-titled debut studio album. The double album featured songs from the film alongside her own pop tracks, debuting at number one in Argentina and reaching top-ten positions across Europe. To promote the project, she launched her first headlining solo series of concerts, the Got Me Started Tour, in 2017.

Tini expanded into Latin pop, reggae, reggaeton, and urbano with her subsequent studio projects. She released her second Argentine chart-topping album, Quiero Volver, in 2018 after signing with Universal Music Latino. Her third album, Tini Tini Tini (2020), incorporated Latin trap elements and was certified double diamond by CAPIF. Moving to Sony Music Latin and 5020 Records, she released Cupido in 2023, blending cumbia and urbano styles. It achieved diamond status in Argentina and yielded three number-one singles on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100. Her 2024 alternative pop project, Un Mechón de Pelo, addressed personal struggles and public scrutiny, generating the top single "Pa".

Outside of recording, Tini served as a judge and advisor on the Argentine and Spanish versions of The Voice, led the drama series Breakdown, and voiced a role in UglyDolls. Her career accomplishments include multiple Gardel Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Los 40 Music Awards, and Martín Fierro Awards. She was named among The Hollywood Reporter's most powerful women in global television in 2016 and was selected as Billboard Argentina's Artist of the Year from 2018 through 2020. Tini has also established venue box-office records in Argentina, including consecutive sold-out shows at Estadio Luna Park and Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo.
