Ruangroj completed his elementary education at Bharat Vidyalaya School. He went on to study science and mathematics at Suankularb Wittayalai School before initially enrolling in an undergraduate program for agricultural economics at Kasetsart University's Faculty of Economics. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Arts in Broadcasting and Streaming Media Production from Bangkok University.
He made his official acting debut in 2016 by starring as the lead character Kongphop in the series SOTUS, alongside co-star Perawat Sangpotirat (Krist), who portrayed Arthit. Ruangroj subsequently reprised the role of Kongphop in two follow-up projects: the sequel SOTUS S in 2017 and the anthology series Our Skyy in 2018.
Following his initial success, Ruangroj expanded his acting portfolio through various main television roles. Between November 2018 and February 2019, he starred as Earth in Friend Zone, a role he later reprised in the sequel Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area in 2020. He also played the character Med in the 2019 series He's Coming to Me alongside Pawat Chittsawangdee, and appeared as Maitee in the 2020 series I'm Tee, Me Too.
His television work continued with appearances in several other popular productions. These include Turn Left Turn Right in 2020, Baker Boys in 2021, Paint with Love in 2021, Shadow in 2023, and The Ex-Morning in 2025.
Over the course of his career, Ruangroj's work has received public industry recognition. Notably, his performance alongside Pawat Chittsawangdee in He's Coming to Me earned the duo the award for Best Dramatic Scene at the 2020 LINE TV Awards.
In April 2021, Ruangroj ended his contract with the talent agency GMMTV and launched his own personal YouTube channel. After working independently for a period, he officially returned to GMMTV in 2024.
