Katie Price

Katie Price, born Katrina Amy Alexandra Alexis Infield on 22 May 1978 in Brighton, East Sussex, is an English media personality, model, businesswoman, author, and singer. She originally achieved widespread fame in the late 1990s as a glamour model for British tabloid newspapers, including Page 3 in The Sun and the Daily Star, where she worked under the pseudonym Jordan.

Price is the only child of Ray and Amy Infield. After her father left when she was four, her mother married Paul Price in 1988, whose surname she adopted at the age of 17. She has an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Sophie, and is of Italian, Spanish, English, and Jewish descent. Growing up in East Sussex, she attended Blatchington Mill School in Hove, swam regionally for Sussex, and developed a passion for equestrian sports. She began modelling as a child, including an assignment for a clothing line at age 13.

In 1996, Price sent professional photos to a London agency and debuted on Page 3 of The Sun as Jordan, quickly becoming known for her surgically enhanced features. Over the following years, she featured regularly in publications such as FHM, Nuts, Maxim, Loaded, Vogue, Esquire, and the Daily Star, and appeared on the cover of the American edition of Playboy in September 2002. She expanded into television with appearances on shows like The Big Breakfast and Top Gear, alongside cameo roles in television dramas. In 2004, she published her debut autobiography, Being Jordan, which became a commercial success.

Price launched a prominent reality television career after appearing on the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2004. Her relationship with fellow contestant Peter Andre led to the Katie & Peter franchise, followed by numerous other series showcasing her personal life, including Katie, Katie Price: My Crazy Life, and Katie Price's Mucky Mansion. In 2005, she finished as runner-up to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest. She later returned to I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2009, won Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, served as a regular panellist on Loose Women, and fronted documentaries focusing on her mental health and family life, such as Katie Price: Harvey & Me.

Beyond broadcasting, Price built an extensive career in publishing and business. She has written eight autobiographies, eleven novels, a fashion book, and multiple children's book series, becoming one of the top 100 best-selling authors in the UK between 2000 and 2009. Her commercial projects encompass several fragrance releases, equestrian wear through KP Equestrian, fashion lines, beauty items, nutrition supplements, and her brand Scented by Katie Price. In 2022, she joined OnlyFans to create content independently, and in 2023, she introduced her podcast, The Katie Price Show.

Following online harassment directed at her son Harvey, Price campaigned to make online abuse a criminal offence, eventually bringing the cause before Parliament. In music, she released the collaborative album A Whole New World with Peter Andre in 2006, alongside several standalone singles. In August 2025, a resurgence of interest saw her older singles "I Got U" and "Hurricane" reach the top 20 of the UK Singles Sales Chart, leading to the release of her comeback tracks "Best of Me" and "This Christmas" later that year.
