Jessica White

Jessica Angel White is an American fashion model, actress, and television personality. She is best known for her work as a Victoria's Secret runway model, a Maybelline spokesperson, and a CoverGirl model, as well as her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues.

White was born on June 21, 1984, in Buffalo, New York. Her father was a pastor, and as a child, she sang in a church-driven girl group. She spent her upbringing in Buffalo and attended Kensington High School.

White was scouted in her hometown at the age of 12 and attended the Personal Best modeling school at age sixteen. After modeling for one week, she secured her first assignment—an editorial for Vogue—after meeting Anna Wintour. She subsequently moved to Paris, where she signed a contract with the international agency IMG Models. Over the course of her career, she has modeled for magazines including Sports Illustrated, W, Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue, King, and Maxim, and featured in body painting works by Joanne Gair.

As a runway model, White has walked for designers and fashion houses such as Philipp Plein, Victoria's Secret, Alice Roi, Baby Phat, Oscar de la Renta, Tracy Reese, Zang Toi, Sonia Rykiel, Alberta Ferretti, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and DKNY. She has also appeared in advertising campaigns for brands including Chloé, CoverGirl, Gap, Maybelline, RocaWear, and Tommy Jeans.

White expanded her career into television, film, and music videos. She appeared in music videos for Big & Rich, John Legend, Jay-Z, Robin Thicke, and Trey Songz. Her screen credits include a role as Bra Model in the 2006 film Big Momma's House 2 and guest appearances as herself on The Young and the Restless in 2008 and America's Next Top Model in 2009. She later appeared on the reality series Famously Single, played Tammi in the 2016 film The Perfect Match, and joined the main cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2023. Her television appearances also include Zoe Ever After and Hip Hop Squares.

In addition to modeling and acting, White wrote and produced her debut single, "Bipolar Love," released under the stage name "Jypsy" on June 21, 2016. In philanthropy, she established the Angel Wings Foundation, an organization focused on women's charitable causes.

In her personal life, White has spoken about overcoming early hardship, depression, and addiction, crediting her modeling career with enabling her to leave an abusive environment. In October 2010, she was arrested following an assault incident in New York City. In 2025, White married Nathan Wong and publicly discussed her experience with depression and fertility struggles following a miscarriage.
