Born on 9 July 1995 in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, Henley is the daughter of Helen and Mike Henley. She grew up with two older sisters, Rachael and Laura. She attended Moorfield School for Girls and Bradford Grammar School before studying English at the University of Cambridge.
Henley made her screen debut in the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which grossed over 745 million dollars globally. Her older sister Rachael portrayed the older version of her character in the film. Henley reprised her role in the sequels Prince Caspian in 2008 and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010. Henley starred as Margaret Tudor in the historical television series The Spanish Princess from 2019 to 2020. In 2019, she was cast in a Game of Thrones prequel pilot that HBO ultimately did not pick up. She also published a poetry pamphlet titled Amphibian in 2022.
Henley lives in London, England. She identifies as queer and bisexual, and has been a supporter of the orphan charity SOS Children's Villages since 2012. Early in her university studies at Cambridge, she survived a life-threatening case of necrotising fasciitis.
