Daisy Lowe

Daisy Rebecca Lowe is an English fashion model known for her work across print editorials, commercial advertising campaigns, and runway fashion shows. Born on 27 January 1989 in Westminster, London, she is the daughter of singer-songwriter turned fashion designer Pearl Lowe and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale.

Lowe was raised in Primrose Hill, North London. When her mother relocated to Hampshire, she stayed with her grandparents to continue her education at South Hampstead High School. Originally believed to be the daughter of Bronner Handwerger, a 2004 paternity test established that her biological father was Gavin Rossdale. Lowe has six half-siblings through her parents' respective marriages and is Jewish.

Her modeling career began at two years old, followed by photo shoots at ages 12 and 14. At age 15, she was scouted in Camden Town and signed with the London modeling agency Select. In 2006, she appeared in Vogue Italia, the Urban Outfitters catalogue, French Connection print advertisements, and British Harper's Bazaar. Her editorial work quickly expanded to cover publications such as W magazine, Jane, i-D, Tatler, Elle, GQ, Marie Claire, InStyle, Teen Vogue, and The Sunday Times Style.

On the runway, designer Karl Lagerfeld selected Lowe to model for Chanel. She subsequently walked in fashion shows across New York, Milan, and London for Topshop, PPQ, Vivienne Westwood, Henry Holland, Nanette Lepore, Sue Stemp, and Charlotte Ronson. Lowe has also appeared in advertising campaigns for brands including Marc by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Burberry, Mango, Esprit, Agent Provocateur, Converse, Dr. Martens, Biba, and Stephen Webster, and was featured in the 2010 Pirelli Calendar.

Beyond modeling, Lowe has participated in several television, film, and media ventures. She was the subject of the BBC Two documentary series Class of 2008, co-hosted Glamour's Best Dressed 2008 on Fiver, and appeared in music videos for Armand Van Helden, Dirty Pretty Things, and Miles Kane. She featured in the 2009 film project The First Days of Spring, held a small role in the action movie Pressure, and participated in a 2014 Channel 4 comedy sketch raising awareness for testicular cancer. In 2016, she competed on series 14 of Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

Lowe's additional work includes DJing, hosting events for Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce and Gabbana, launching the podcast Femme: It's All About Being A Woman, and releasing a 2019 clothing line with artist Jemima Sara. She also published a recipe book, Sweetness and Light, in 2014. In her personal life, Lowe began practicing Transcendental Meditation in 2013, was previously in a relationship with actor Matt Smith, and married Jordan Saul in June 2025, with whom she has a daughter born in April 2023.
