Amanda Kloots

Amanda Kloots is an American television personality, dancer, model, actress, and fitness instructor. Born on March 19, 1982, she is widely recognized for her work across performing arts, fitness, and daytime television, including her role as a co-host on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk.

Kloots grew up as the second youngest of five children. For her education, she attended GlenOak High School, located in Plain Township, Stark County, Ohio.

She began her career in performance, working as a dancer and actress. She performed in the ensemble of several Broadway musicals, including Good Vibrations, Follies, Young Frankenstein, and Bullets Over Broadway. Additionally, she is a former member of the iconic dance company the Rockettes.

In 2020, Kloots expanded her career by launching a digital fitness brand featuring exercise videos led by her. That same year, she appeared as a guest co-host on The Talk. She was named a permanent co-host of the show in January 2021 and remained in the role through 2024.

Beyond her television hosting, Kloots co-authored a memoir titled Live Your Life with her sister, which was released in June 2021. Later in 2021, she appeared as a celebrity contestant on season 30 of the competition series Dancing with the Stars, where she finished in fourth place.

In her personal life, Kloots was married to actor David Larsen for six years. She later met actor Nick Cordero while working on the musical Bullets Over Broadway. The couple married in 2017 and had a son, born via C-section on June 10, 2019. Cordero died from COVID-19 complications in 2020, and Kloots gained public attention for documenting his illness and death on Instagram. Kloots resides in Los Angeles and endorsed Joe Biden during the 2020 United States presidential election.
