Alisha Boe

Alisha Ilhaan Bø, known professionally as Alisha Boe, is a Norwegian actress. She is widely recognized for her starring role as Jessica Davis in the Netflix drama series 13 Reasons Why, as well as her performance as Conchita Closson in the Apple TV+ period drama series The Buccaneers.

Boe was born in Oslo, Norway, on 6 March 1997 to a Norwegian mother from Trondheim and a Somali father. Following her parents' divorce, her mother remarried an American man. At the age of seven, Boe relocated to Los Angeles with her mother and stepfather. She later attended El Camino Real High School, where she participated in the school's drama program.

She began her professional acting career in 2008, making her film debut as a young Lisa Swan in the horror movie Amusement. She continued to build her screen credits with appearances in the film He's On My Mind in 2009 and the horror feature Paranormal Activity 4 in 2012. In 2014, Boe expanded her television work with a guest appearance on Modern Family and a two-episode arc on Extant.

Later in November 2014, Boe secured a recurring role as Daphne on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. Her major breakthrough came when she was cast as Jessica Davis in the Netflix original drama series 13 Reasons Why, a role she portrayed from 2017 through 2020.

Following her work on 13 Reasons Why, Boe continued to secure prominent roles in feature films and television series. In January 2021, she joined the cast of Jesse Eisenberg's directorial debut film, When You Finish Saving the World. In June 2022, she was cast as one of the lead characters, Conchita Closson, in Katherine Jakeways' Apple TV+ series The Buccaneers.
