PinkPantheress

Victoria Beverley Walker, known professionally as PinkPantheress, is a British singer-songwriter and record producer. Born on April 19, 2001, in Bath, Somerset, she was raised in Canterbury, Kent. Her mother works as a carer and her father is a statistics professor. Walker attended Simon Langton Girls' School and took piano lessons as a child. As a teenager, she sang in a rock cover band before enrolling at the University of the Arts London to study film, later dropping out in 2022. In 2025, she was awarded an honorary doctorate in Music from the University of Kent.

Walker began producing tracks on GarageBand while attending university in late 2020, posting snippets under the alias PinkPantheress on SoundCloud and TikTok. Early uploads using samples of 1990s and 2000s tracks went viral, leading to record deals with Parlophone and Elektra Records in 2021. Her breakthrough singles "Pain" and "Just for Me" entered the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, building momentum for her debut mixtape, To Hell with It, released in October 2021. In early 2022, she won the BBC Sound of 2022 poll.

Following the release of her 2022 EP Take Me Home, PinkPantheress gained major international recognition with "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2," a collaboration featuring Ice Spice. The track peaked at number two in the United Kingdom and number three on the US Billboard Hot 100, earning a platinum certification in the United States. She released her debut studio album, Heaven Knows, in November 2023, which charted internationally and included the UK top-20 single "Nice to Meet You." Her second mixtape, Fancy That (2025), reached number three on the UK Albums Chart and generated the top-40 UK singles "Tonight" and "Stateside." A remix featuring Zara Larsson reached the top ten in the United States and topped the Billboard Global 200.

PinkPantheress's musical style incorporates elements of alt-pop, R&B, drum and bass, UK garage, house, and 2-step. She is recognized for self-producing concise tracks—frequently under three minutes—that pair fast breakbeat loops with soft, storytelling-focused lyrics. She has cited artists such as Imogen Heap, Lily Allen, Kelela, Kate Nash, and Hayley Williams as key influences on her sound and career path.

Throughout her career, PinkPantheress has earned multiple industry honors. She was named Producer of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music awards and received two Grammy Award nominations for her work on Fancy That. She made history at the Brit Awards by becoming the youngest recipient and the first woman to win British Producer of the Year. In mid-2026, she began preparations for her acting debut in a film directed by the Daniels and confirmed work on her second studio album.
