About Peter Lanzani

Juan Pedro "Peter" Lanzani is an Argentine actor, singer, and former child model. Born on August 24, 1990, he gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Thiago Bedoya Agüero in the television show Casi Ángeles, as well as his musical involvement with the pop group Teen Angels. He is also recognized for his feature film performances in projects such as El Clan and Argentina 1985.

Lanzani was raised in the Belgrano district of Buenos Aires alongside his three brothers. He received his education at the Belgrano Day School and the Annunciation of María Institute. During his youth, he followed a family tradition shared by his father and siblings by playing rugby for the Alumni club. Although he stepped away from organized rugby to concentrate on his acting ambitions, he continues to participate in the sport recreationally.

His career in the entertainment industry began in 2004 when he worked as a model for the brand Mimo & Co. Lanzani made his television debut in 2006 on the Telefe series Chiquititas, a Cris Morena production starring Jorgelina Aruzzi and Gaston Ricaud, in which he portrayed the character Tábano. From 2007 to 2010, he starred in the central role of Thiago Bedoya Agüero in Cris Morena's hit series Casi Ángeles. The program achieved significant popularity on television and was adapted into a record-breaking theatrical production at the Gran Rex Theater, becoming the second most attended play in the history of Argentine theater. Following his success on the show, an online poll by the newspaper La Nación named Lanzani the top television heartthrob of 2010.

Lanzani's work on Casi Ángeles led to the formation of the pop musical group Teen Angels, which featured members of the show's main cast. The original lineup included Lanzani alongside Lali Espósito, Eugenia Suárez, Nicolas Riera, and Gastón Dalmau, with Rocío Igarzábal later taking the place of Suárez.

In 2011, Lanzani acted opposite Facundo Arana in the comedy series Cuando Me Sonreís. The following year, from April to November 2012, he appeared in the miniseries La Dueña as Eliseo Lacroix, playing the grandson of the lead character played by Mirtha Legrand. During that same timeframe, in June 2012, he made a guest appearance as Fede on the telenovela Dulce Amor, which starred Carina Zampini and Sebastian Estevanez. In June 2013, he reunited with producer Cris Morena to star in the Telefe television project Aliados.

Lanzani transitioned into feature films in 2015 when he co-starred alongside Guillermo Francella in the Pablo Trapero motion picture El Clan. The movie was based on the real-life story of the infamous Puccio family crime network. He further expanded his cinematic repertoire with a prominent role in the film Argentina 1985, directed by Santiago Mitre.
