Nicole Fujita

Nicole Fujita is a New Zealand-born Japanese fashion model and television personality based in Tokyo. Professionally represented by the agency Oscar Promotion, she has established a prominent media presence in Japan and currently serves as an exclusive model for the fashion publication ViVi.

Born on February 20, 1998, Fujita spent her early life influenced by prominent Popteen models from the late 2000s and early 2010s, including Kumiko Funayama. On her father's side, she shares Polish and Russian heritage.

Fujita's career in modeling began in 2012 when she emerged as the winner of the 13th Nicola Model Audition, securing an exclusive modeling contract with Nicola magazine. She subsequently transitioned to Popteen magazine starting with its July 2014 issue. Expanding into television, she became a fashion reporter for the news program Mezamashi TV in April 2015. Her rising popularity led her to become the most searched new model on Yahoo! Japan that same year, earning a special recognition award for the achievement.

In July 2016, Fujita took on her first acting role by starring in Fuji Television's spin-off drama Suki na Hito ga Irukoto: Sama Sama Kyun Kyun Daisakusen. Shortly after, she launched her singing career in August 2016. Her television presence expanded rapidly, resulting in appearances across more than 330 television programs throughout 2017.

After departing Popteen in August 2017, Fujita joined the lineup of exclusive models for ViVi two months later. She expanded her creative projects into fashion design by launching her personal brand, NiCORON, in 2018. Additionally, she provided voice acting for the anime series Pokémon: Sun & Moon in 2018 and established her own YouTube channel in February 2019, which accumulated over 500,000 subscribers by September of that year.

In recent years, Fujita received international recognition when her likeness was transformed into a Barbie doll in March 2024 alongside other notable female figures to mark the 65th anniversary of International Women's Day. In her personal life, she married actor Yu Inaba in August 2023, and in December 2025, she publicly shared the news of her pregnancy.
