Nicky Hilton

Nicholai Olivia "Nicky" Hilton Rothschild is an American socialite, fashion designer, and model. She is a member of the Hilton family by birth and joined the Rothschild family through her 2015 marriage to financier James Rothschild. Hilton is widely known for her career in fashion design, modeling projects, and media appearances, as well as being the younger sister of Paris Hilton.

Hilton was born on October 5, 1983, in New York City to Richard Hilton and Kathy Hilton (née Avanzino) and was raised in Los Angeles. Named after her granduncle Conrad "Nicky" Hilton Jr., she grew up alongside her older sister Paris and her younger brothers, Barron II and Conrad Hughes. Hilton was raised Catholic and graduated in 2001 from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York City. She later pursued coursework at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons The New School for Design.

Hilton established her career in fashion design in 2004 by launching her own clothing line and designing a handbag line for the Japanese company Samantha Thavasa. In 2007, she debuted her higher-priced line, Nicholai, presenting its spring/summer 2008 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Over the following years, she expanded her creative projects to include an Art Deco–inspired jewelry line in 2010, a collection with eLuxe in 2014, and a handbag capsule collection with Linea Pelle in 2015.

Her design work continued with a 2017 collaboration with Tolani on a Mommy and Me line, followed by a travel collection in 2019 and her footwear line, Nicky Hilton x French Sole, that same year. In October 2024, she partnered with Australian designer Rebecca Vallance to unveil a holiday fashion collection. In June 2025, Hilton launched Theo Grace, a fine jewelry brand backed by the Tenen Group and named after her daughters, featuring customizable pieces and her curated Charmed Collection.

In addition to design, Hilton worked as a model, serving as the face of the Australian underwear line Antz Pantz in 2005 and appearing on the cover of New Zealand and Romanian editions of Lucire magazine. Her other ventures include a 2006 partnership to launch Nicky O Hotels in Miami and Chicago, publishing her style book 365 Style with Harlequin in 2014, and creating a limited-edition makeup collection with Smashbox in 2015.

Hilton married businessman Todd Meister in Las Vegas in August 2004, though the marriage was annulled less than three months later. In 2011, she began dating James Rothschild, the son of Amschel Rothschild and grandson of Victor Rothschild, 3rd Baron Rothschild. The couple became engaged in 2014 and married on July 10, 2015, in London, England. They have three children.
