Nicholas Galitzine

Nicholas Dimitri Constantine Galitzine was born on 29 September 1994 in West London, England. Raised in a family with British and Greek-American heritage, he spent holidays visiting relatives in Greece. In his youth, Galitzine was active in sports, playing rugby for the Harlequins Academy along with football and track. After injuries ended his athletic ambitions, he developed an interest in acting when friends persuaded him to audition for a staging of Spring Awakening. Following his time with the youth theatre company Pleasance Islington, he chose to work toward a professional acting career instead of pursuing higher education.

Galitzine made his professional acting debut in the 2014 feature film The Beat Beneath My Feet, playing a musically inclined teenager. He was named a Star of Tomorrow by Screen International in 2015, the same year he made a guest appearance on the television show Legends. He went on to secure leading roles in the teen dramas High Strung and Handsome Devil in 2016. In the following years, he appeared in the film drama The Changeover, the television movie The Watcher in the Woods, the Netflix drama series Chambers, and the film Share.

In 2020, Galitzine joined the cast of the supernatural horror film The Craft: Legacy. He subsequently starred as Prince Robert in the 2021 musical film Cinderella, contributing vocals to several tracks on the movie's soundtrack, and released his debut single Comfort in 2022. Galitzine achieved a career breakthrough later that year with his starring role as a United States Marine in the romantic drama Purple Hearts.

Galitzine further built his profile with prominent roles in 2023 and 2024. He appeared in the comedy film Bottoms and starred as Prince Henry in the romantic comedy film Red, White & Royal Blue. His performance in the historical television series Mary & George received critical attention, while his leading role in the romantic drama film The Idea of You involved providing lead vocals for the film's fictional boy band. His musical work on the project earned him nominations at the Guild of Music Supervisors Awards and the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

Galitzine subsequently prepared for the role of He-Man in the live-action feature Masters of the Universe and ventured into voice acting as the lead character in the animated feature Wings of Freedom. His attached projects also include roles in films such as The Mosquito Bowl, The Return of Stanley Atwell, 100 Nights of Hero, The Sheep Detectives, an upcoming sequel titled Red, White & Royal Wedding, and a project depicting Hoyt Richards.

Alongside his acting work, Galitzine has worked with prominent fashion brands, becoming a global menswear ambassador for Fendi in 2023 and a global fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani in 2025. On a personal level, he was raised in the Greek Orthodox faith, was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as a child, and supports the Arsenal football club.
