Luke Kleintank

Luke Kleintank is an American actor known for his roles across television and film. He gained recognition for portraying Finn Abernathy on the Fox drama series Bones, Tyler Harne in the 2015 feature film Max, and Nazi agent Joe Blake in the Amazon series The Man in the High Castle. From 2021 to 2024, he starred as FBI Special Agent Scott Forrester in the CBS crime drama series FBI: International.

Kleintank was born on May 18, 1990, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has five older siblings. At age two, he moved with his family to Guadalajara, Mexico, where he lived for three years and learned to speak both English and Spanish. He subsequently spent twelve years raised in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. On his paternal grandfather's side, he is of Dutch and German descent, tracing back to his second great-grandfather Antonius Klein Tank, who emigrated from Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands, to Cincinnati in 1846 and married Catharina Adelheides Messink in 1854.

His interest in performing began at age five when his mother cast him in his first play, Carnival. He continued performing in community theater and participated in multiple stage productions throughout high school. Moving to New York City to pursue an acting career, Kleintank made his screen debut playing Greg in a 2009 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2010, he played Elliot Leichter in a recurring role on Gossip Girl. After relocating to Los Angeles, he debuted as Noah Newman on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless in September 2010, departing less than six months later to join the cast of No Ordinary Family as Chris.

In 2011, Kleintank was cast as Finn Abernathy on Bones. He subsequently appeared in a recurring role as Travis on the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars from 2013 to 2014, and played Caleb Phipps on CBS's Person of Interest between 2013 and 2015. His profile expanded significantly when he landed the co-starring role of Joe Blake on Amazon's streaming series The Man in the High Castle, which he played from 2015 to 2018. During this period, he also starred as Tyler Harne in the 2015 drama film Max.

In 2019, Kleintank appeared in three feature films, playing Nick Holland in Crown Vic, Platt Barbour in The Goldfinch, and Clarence Dickinson in Midway. He returned to television as the lead character FBI Special Agent Scott Forrester on FBI: International starting in 2021. In April 2024, he announced his departure from the show to spend more time with his family, making his final appearance in the Season 3 episode Touts.

In his personal life, Kleintank became engaged to Christina Vignaud, the daughter of Argentine diplomat Juan Carlos Vignaud, in December 2018.
