Kathryn Dorothy Chastain is an American chief stewardess, television personality, author, and podcaster. She is best known for her prominent role as Chief Stewardess on the Bravo reality television series Below Deck, on which she appeared from 2014 to 2020. Following her tenure on Below Deck, Chastain went on to compete on reality series including Peacock's game show The Traitors and the competition show House of Villains.

Chastain was born on January 2, 1983, in Melbourne Beach, Florida. She grew up in Florida and later moved to Sacramento, California, where she graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School. She then attended the University of Central Florida, earning a degree in communications while developing an interest in hospitality and customer service. Upon graduating, Chastain entered the yachting industry, beginning as a laundry stewardess before advancing to become a chief stewardess on luxury yachts.

Her professional background in yachting led to her casting on Bravo's Below Deck, a reality show chronicling crew members working aboard luxury charter yachts. Chastain joined the series during its second season in 2014 as the chief stewardess. Over six seasons on the show, she gained recognition for her leadership, sharp wit, and candid confessionals. She worked with multiple crews and captains before departing the series after its seventh season in 2020 to focus on land-based projects and media opportunities.

Chastain expanded her reality television career by joining the first season of Peacock's competition show The Traitors in 2023. Playing as a Faithful, she completed challenges while navigating secret opponents and finished in fifth place. She returned for the show's second season as a mid-season intruder, was recruited as a Traitor, and remained in the game until being banished at the endgame. In 2026, she appeared on the third season of House of Villains, hosted by Joel McHale, where she finished in third place.

In addition to competing on reality series, Chastain has worked as a host and commentator on various television programs. In 2020, she served as the host and executive producer of the Bravo digital talk show Bravo's Chat Room. She also appeared on Below Deck Galley Talk and co-hosted Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate alongside Captain Lee Rosbach in 2023. Her other television credits include appearances on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen!, and the 2024 discussion special The Traitors: Postmortem.

In her personal life, Chastain previously resided in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during her yachting career, and was in a relationship with Rocío Hernández in 2016. She is a single mother to a son, Sullivan, who began attending school in early 2025. Outside of her media work, Chastain founded Genesis Boutique, a nonprofit organization that provides professional clothing to women re-entering the workforce.
